Description - Heating cable NAVIN HaloClear 18/600, electric underfloor heating

NAVIN HaloClear™ heating cables are electric wires for underfloor heating systems that can be installed directly on or into the subfloor without the need for an underlay. They offer great flexibility in layout design as they can be placed around fixed objects and architectural elements, making them an ideal solution for underfloor heating in bathrooms and irregularly shaped rooms. The distance between the cables can be varied depending on the required heating output (W/m2) - an ideal way to adapt the heating to the specific conditions of the room.

NAVIN HaloClear™ heating cables are designed to provide comfortable warmth in any room and are suitable for both main and additional heating.

Absolutely safe - recommended for installation in all types of rooms.

Based on over 25 years of successful experience in manufacturing electric towel warmers and its own production of heating cable for them using DRY HEAT technology, NAVIN offers its customers the best safe solution for comfortable heating of a home or technical premises.

Why HaloClear™ heating cable for underfloor heating from NAVIN?

  • Ukrainian production
Unlike most of our competitors, which are imported, our products are completely manufactured in Ukraine. This gives us the advantage of an affordable price for the end consumer and fast logistics.
  • Quality confirmed by experience
For over 25 years, we have been manufacturing heating cable for our own production of electric towel warmers.
  • Certified in Ukraine and Europe
All products undergo testing and certification.
  • Internal fluoropolymer insulation FEP (Teflon) conductors
Allows you to produce a thin cable with a larger bend radius.
  • External halogen-free HFFR insulation
Self-extinguishing, non-flammable, the safest insulation in its class.
  • Flexible installation planning
The cable is easy to lay in any configuration — even in hard-to-reach or non-standard areas.
  • Quick and easy installation
Installation is performed without specialized tools and complex procedures, compared to water-based underfloor heating.

Advantages of electric underfloor heating:

  • Uniform soft heat across the entire floor.
  • Fast system response and precise temperature control.
  • Energy efficiency and silence.
  • Nothing superfluous in the interior.
  • Guaranteed safety.

Safe halogen-free HFFR HaloClear™ insulation :

  • Does not contain halogens and does not emit toxic fumes when heated.
  • Increased fire resistance and durability of the shell.
  • An environmentally responsible choice for residential and commercial spaces.
  • Does not support combustion.

Installation of underfloor heating under tiles, laminate or linoleum.

1. Preparing the base

A thermal insulation layer is first laid on the subfloor - film insulation. It prevents heat loss downwards, i.e. it does not allow the neighbors' ceiling or the ground under the house to heat up.

2. Base screed

A thin layer of screed (approximately 7 mm) is poured over the insulation to avoid direct contact of the heating cable with the film.

3. Installation of underfloor heating

After the base has dried, a heating cable or mat is installed, which is then filled with another layer of screed. It is this “pie” that forms an effective floor heating system.

4. Finishing coating

Any covering can be laid on the finished base - ceramic tiles, laminate or linoleum.

If you plan to lay tiles, the system can be installed in tile adhesive (approximately 5–8 mm thick), without the need for a separate screed. This allows you to maintain the height of the floor and reduce installation time.

Importantly:

  • For laminate , the heating temperature should not exceed 27–29 °C (the exact value is specified by the laminate manufacturer).
  • Not all types of linoleum are suitable for use with underfloor heating - you should only choose those that are marked 'suitable for underfloor heating'.

5. Temperature control

The comfortable temperature is regulated by a thermostat - mechanical or programmable. It allows you to precisely maintain the required heat, ensuring energy efficiency and safety of the coating.

Now your home will always be comfortable — HaloClear™ gives warmth that can be felt in the heart.
