FAQ

What kind of pipe is used in the production of stainless and steel heated towel rails? What seam, whose production, the thickness of the pipe walls?

To produce products, the company uses only high-quality stainless steel AISI 304L with a high content of alloying elements Ni and Cr, this allows the products to remain resistant to aggressive corrosive environments, which significantly extends their service life.

Seam pipe, seam welding method - TIG.

Manufacture: Italy, Taiwan.

What pressure can a stainless heated towel rail withstand?

Test pressure 25 atmospheres or 2.5 MPa. The test is carried out using water pressure using Rothenberger equipment.

How many fasteners are included in the heated towel rail kit?

  • From 2 to 4 depending on the type and model of the product;

What is included in the heated towel rail kit?

The heated towel rail kit includes:
  • heated towel rail - 1 piece;
  • set with dowels and screws in accordance with the models, product instructions - 1 piece;
  • polyethylene packaging; corrugated cardboard packaging; water heated towel rails are also equipped with a Mayevsky tap and a plug.

What painting method is used?

When painting a heated towel rail, polymer powder paint is used, which polymerizes (hardens) at t = 200 °C.

What welding method is used?

Argon-arc welding (TIG method) is used in the production of heated towel rails.

Is it possible to install a heating element in a water heated towel rail?

Yes. You can connect a heating element to any “ladder” type water heated towel rail produced by our company.

Stray currents, what are the causes and ways to eliminate them?

The reasons for the occurrence of stray electric currents in the heating and water supply systems are very different - ranging from the absence or improper grounding of electrical appliances directly connected to the riser of the heated towel rail, such as a washing machine and the proximity of the railway, tram tracks, potential differences, etc.

A common cause of electrocorrosion is the difference in potential of two different materials in close proximity to each other, due to cutting off a metal grounded riser, removing the old battery and replacing it with a new heated towel rail using polypropylene or metal-plastic liner. In this case, you cut off the grounding of the heated towel rail, because polypropylene and metal-plastic futorki break the earth conductor chain, and water in this case will be the electrolyte between steel and stainless steel

To avoid local electrical corrosion, grounding the heated towel rail is necessary and mandatory.

To do this, it is necessary to restore the “cut off” grounding section of the inlet and return of the riser (restore the ringing) with a copper connecting wire to the heated towel rail.

Electric heated towel rail, operating principle?

The Navin company produces electric dry heated towel rails. A cable with double silicone insulation is used as a heating element. The cable is made in Ukraine.

What is the power of electric heated towel rails?

  • Coil type - 56 W;
  • Type "Ladder" - 37÷270 W.

What is the temperature on the surface of the heated towel rail?

The maximum temperature on the surface of an electric heated towel rail is 55 ± 5 ° C, which corresponds to GOST.

The temperature of the water heated towel rail depends on the temperature of the coolant in the system.

What are the warranty conditions?

The warranty period for water heated towel rails made of stainless steel is 10 years for closed systems and 2 years for the general system, electric heated towel rails are 3 years.

All products manufactured by Navin are insured by an insurance company.
