Description - Installation tape for underfloor heating NAVIN StepFix 20x0.5, 10 m
NAVIN StepFix 20x0.5 mounting tape is a professional standard for underfloor heating. Made of rigid galvanized steel, it provides perfect fixation of the heating cable, speeds up installation and guarantees the durability of the heating system.
Description and benefits:
The tape is designed to evenly distribute the cable over the surface of the base. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, it securely fixes the cable "into a lock", which completely eliminates its unwanted movement during pouring the screed. This prevents the heating parts from colliding, which can lead to system failure.
- Reliability : Hard steel holds the cable when pouring the screed and maintains the specified laying pitch.
- Durability : The tape does not deform when stretched and does not tear at bends.
- Protection : Galvanized coating is resistant to corrosion and the aggressive environment of concrete mortars.
- Precision: The 20 mm mounting pitch makes it easy to implement any cable layout.
Technical specifications:
- Model : NAVIN StepFix
- Material: Galvanized steel
- Thickness: 0.5 mm
- Mounting step (fixation): 20 mm
- Length per roll: 10 m
- Purpose: Fixing the heating cable for electric underfloor heating
How to calculate the required quantity:
To securely fasten the heating cable, the tape lines are usually placed parallel to each other at intervals of 50–70 cm.
- Simplified formula: For a quick calculation, multiply the heating area by 2.
For example: for a 5 m² area, you will need about 10 m of tape (1 roll).
- The exact formula:
L=S/0.5, where S is the laying area (m²), and 0.5 is the standard distance between the tape lines (m).
- Tip: We recommend adding 10% allowance for trimming and difficult installation areas.
