Description - Underfloor heating kit NAVIN HaloClear Basic 260 W / 1.4 - 1.7 m² (14.5 m) heating cable + thermostat NAVIN EH84WM-16A, matte white
The NAVIN Basic underfloor heating kit combines the efficient HaloClear™ heating cable and the EH84WM-16A mechanical thermostat , creating a reliable and safe electric underfloor heating system for any room. It is a ready-made solution for installation under tiles, laminate or linoleum, which provides comfortable soft heat, stable operation and easy one-handle control.
NAVIN heating cables are manufactured using proprietary technology and have internal FEP (Teflon) insulation and an external halogen-free HFFR sheath — the highest level of safety and durability. Thanks to the ability to change the laying step, the system can be easily adapted to the temperature and thermal power of a particular room.
The NAVIN EH84WM-16A thermostat provides simple and intuitive control: with one turn of the knob you select the desired temperature. The model is equipped with a floor sensor, has overheating protection and works without programming - stably and reliably.
This kit is the optimal choice for bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, living rooms or irregularly shaped rooms where installation flexibility and safety are important.
Advantages of the kit:
1. Ukrainian production NAVIN
We have been manufacturing heating cables in our own production for over 25 years. This guarantees stable quality, control at every stage, and an affordable price without import surcharges.
2. Maximum safety HaloClear™
- internal FEP fluoropolymer insulation — thin bending radius, high temperature resistance
- HFFR outer shell - halogen-free, non-flammable
- no toxic fumes when heated
- certified in Ukraine and the EU
3. Installation flexibility
- the cable is laid around furniture, plumbing and architectural elements
- possibility to change the laying step for the required power (W/m²)
- suitable for complex and non-standard areas
4. Easy thermostat control
- classic rotary handle
- “Heating / Cooling” modes
- LED operation indicator
- complete set: thermostat + floor sensor
- sensor interruption protection
5. Energy efficiency and comfort
- uniform heat without overheating
- fast heating and precise temperature maintenance
- completely silent operation
- ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces
Installation of underfloor heating under tiles, laminate or linoleum.
1. Preparing the base
A thermal insulation layer is first laid on the subfloor - film insulation. It prevents heat loss downwards, i.e. it does not allow the neighbors' ceiling or the ground under the house to heat up.
2. Base screed
A thin layer of screed (approximately 7 mm) is poured over the insulation to avoid direct contact of the heating cable with the film.
3. Installation of underfloor heating
After the base has dried, a heating cable or mat is installed, which is then filled with another layer of screed. It is this “pie” that forms an effective floor heating system.
4. Finishing coating
Any covering can be laid on the finished base - ceramic tiles, laminate or linoleum.
If you plan to lay tiles, the system can be installed in tile adhesive (approximately 5–8 mm thick), without the need for a separate screed. This allows you to maintain the height of the floor and reduce installation time.
Importantly:
- For laminate , the heating temperature should not exceed 27–29 °C (the exact value is specified by the laminate manufacturer).
- Not all types of linoleum are suitable for use with underfloor heating - you should only choose those that are marked 'suitable for underfloor heating'.
5. Temperature control
The comfortable temperature is regulated by a thermostat - mechanical or programmable. It allows you to precisely maintain the required heat, ensuring energy efficiency and safety of the coating.
Now your home will always be comfortable — HaloClear™ gives warmth that can be felt in the heart.
