For professional installation of the heating cable and fixing of the system elements, you will need specialized fasteners and consumables.

1. Mounting tape and clips
This is the basis for a uniform cable laying pitch:
Steel mounting tape: Galvanized tape with stamped "tabs" (fastening pitch is usually 2-2.5 cm). Allows you to securely fix the cable and maintain the exact distance between the turns.
Plastic guides: Used less often, but convenient for thin cables.
"Harpoon" fastening (anchor brackets): If the cable is laid directly on a layer of polystyrene foam (insulation). The brackets are hammered into the slab with a stapler or manually, fixing the cable.
2. Sensor and wiring protection
Corrugated pipe: A mandatory element for the temperature sensor. It allows you to pull out and replace the sensor through the thermostat box if it fails, without breaking the tile.
Brass or plastic plug: Put on the end of the corrugation located in the floor to prevent mortar or glue from getting inside.
Swivel elbow (smooth bend): Used where the corrugation transitions from the wall to the floor so that the sensor can pass freely through the pipe.
3. Mounting hardware
Socket box: For installing the thermostat. It is recommended to choose recessed models to make it easier to place the hard "cold" ends of the cable and power wires.
Dowel nails or self-tapping screws: For attaching the mounting tape to the concrete base or rough screed.
4. Supporting materials
Reinforcing mesh (metal or plastic): If the cable is not mounted on a tape, it can be attached with plastic ties (clamps) directly to the mesh.
Plastic clamps (tie-downs): For securing the cable to the mesh.
Aluminum tape: Used to completely fix the cable to the surface (relevant for dry installation methods) or to seal the seams of thermal insulation.
