How does a thermostatic head work?

The thermal head is installed on the thermostatic radiator valve. Inside the head is a liquid element that changes its volume depending on the air temperature. When the room gets warmer, the head reduces the flow of coolant to the radiator. When the temperature drops, the valve opens more.

Thanks to this, the radiator does not overheat the room, and the temperature remains stable and comfortable.

Installation and use

The thermostatic head is installed on the radiator thermostatic valve manually, without the use of tools. Before installation, it is necessary to remove the protective cap from the valve, install the head in the correct position and lock it.

It is important not to cover the thermal head with curtains, furniture or decorative elements, as this may affect the accuracy of temperature measurement.

Compatibility with radiator valves

The NAVIN TRV-01-W thermostatic head is designed for installation on control and thermostatic valves with a threaded connection M30×1.5 .

The model is compatible with thermostatic valve manufacturers such as NAVIN , Heimeier, Oventrop, MNG and other brands that use a standard M30×1.5 connection.
